Buck’s Day of First

August 29. 2010

Today was a very eventful day for our little man! He got his first hotdog, first bike ride, first popsicle (all by himself). Yesterday he had his first Oreo cookie (all by himself) and he had chicken. He is growing so fast I just can’t believe it! Really only a month and a half and he will be 1.

Cruisin on my bike! :) With sisters’ help!

Ummmm….This is yummy….ummmm

BEFORE the Oreo…..

AFTER the Oreo! Oh so Yum!

I love these pictures.

What is more crazy is that a week after Buck turns 1, my oldest turns 6!!! Wow.

She is loving Kindergarten. She does so well in her class. Her teacher is great too and she has some really cute friends. I am so happy for her. She is really smart.

BC is growing fast too. She is so fun when BN is at school. It is nice to have time with each of them and just enjoy them. They are getting so big. It is a lot of fun.

Sent to Earth to Endure

I got this email in my inbox this morning from the LDS Daily Gems. I thought it as so appropriate for this past week, so I wanted to share it with all of you!

“Do not expect to be free entirely from trouble and disappointment and pain and discouragement, for these are the things that we were sent to earth to endure. “The scriptures promise, ‘There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it’ (1 Corinthians 10:13). “The Savior said, ‘Draw near unto me and I will draw near unto you; seek me diligently and ye shall find me’ (D&C 88:63).”

Buck’s Cereal Experiance

Today, while I was feeding Buck his bowl of cereal and peas, i decided to run downstairs to get my coupon binder so I could start making my shopping list for when Clint got home from work. Well…..I hadn’t been downstairs for only 30 seconds, when I heard this ” mom mom mom” from upstairs, so I go running up there, and he had reached over and grabbed the bowl ( I thought I had put it far enough away…) and he was grabbing handfuls of the cereal and shoving them in his mouth!!! LOLOLOLOL. I couldn’t stop laughing. It was everywhere. And he looked so cute with his big “two tooth” grin and eating away. It was great.

Uh-oh. I’ve been caught “green” handed! :)

Ummm….this is way better than when mom or dad feed me….

I think I can still get more out of it…

That was the best…can I do it again tomorrow, can I? can I?

Taking a breath….

I haven’t posted very much over the last few weeks because I have been busy with my home business work, but that is no excuse. We have also had family reunions and other things we have done with our kids that have kept most of my free time busy or me not wanting to spend it on the computer. Anyways, there have been so many great things happen over the last few weeks, and I can’t wait to tell you all about them. I will be back soon to post all my stories and pictures. :)

So Busy and So much Fun

There is so much I can’t wait to share with you but for now I just wanted to let you know that we are still alive and doing well. I have been trying to balance so many things, and get used to a new schedule with BN starting school this week. hopefully i will be able to get some major posting done this weekend so I can show you all the great times we have had over the last few weeks of vacation, and all our crazy adventures. Talk to you soon! :)

Dutch Oven and the Mountains

Today has been kind of a lazy day. I haven’t felt very good and just didn’t want to do much. So I worked on the computer a little, and Clint had to work this morning so the girls just played with Hunter and had a great time. Clint called on his way home and reminded me what time it was, which put us in a frenzy of getting ready to go up the Mountain (Butterfield Canyon) and have a dutch oven/bbq with our friends. I don’t know if I gets much better than having Dutch Oven up in the Mountains! :) lol. Well, it was really good and a lot of fun!The girls had fun exploring and getting dirty, but we all (me and the girls) had to pee so bad that it forced us to leave since there were no bathrooms around. lol.

It was a fun day but its good to be home.
